Hull City defender Michael Dawson could face his former club Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Sunday.
The 31-year-old has not played a competitive match since October 18 when he suffered an ankle ligament problem in the 2-2 draw with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
According to The Hull Daily Mail, England international Dawson could feature against Spurs, whom he left in the summer transfer window.
“Having come safely through light sessions so far this week, the former Spurs defender is close to concluding his own rehabilitation,” states the report.
Dawson’s return to fitness and his availability is indeed a huge boost to Hull’s chances of defeating Tottenham at the KC Stadium on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Tottenham, who allowed Dawson to leave in the summer, are 12th in the standings with 14 points.
