Whisper it quietly, but Blackburn Rovers are putting together a solid push for promotion, two seasons after they originally intended.
The Lancashire side are into their third season in the Championship, and have slipped under the radar so far of the mainstream media as they climb the table to seventh position, one place outside the play-offs.
They are unbeaten in their last six games, and possess one of the division's most prolific strikers in Rudy Gestede who is the joint leading scorer with 10 goals.
Rovers as a team are the Championship's fourth highest scorers, with their 27 goals only bettered by Bournemouth, Derby and Watford.
Six of these have come through the excellent winger Ben Marshall, who has struck six and provided three assists.
Much of the team's success has also come through their combative nature, with Rovers winning the highest percentage of aerial duels in the Championship this season.

The credit must go to manager Gary Bowyer, who stepped in from a caretaker role after a number of failed appointments and subsequent sackings.
Distrust in owners the Venkys will remain, but on the pitch Rovers are quietly putting together a solid team filled with talented British players including the likes of Tom Cainey and Grant Hanley.
With a season-high crowd expected at Ewood Park against Leeds this weekend, now is the ideal time to kick on and for the players to respond to the atmosphere and notch another win before a tricky trip to promotion rivals Middlesbrough.
