Manchester United prospect Andreas Pereira met club icon Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of Portugal's game with Argentina.
Ronaldo was back training on the Old Trafford pitch on Monday evening ahead of the friendly game, which sees him go head-to-head with Lionel Messi.
It will be Ronaldo's first game at the stadium since his Real Madrid defeated United in the Champions League in March 2013.
A former Champions League winner with the club in 2008, he was sold a year later for a world record £80 million.
Teenager Pereira is a highly rated prospect signed from Anderlecht, who is on the fringes of the first team. A Brazil youth international, he is regularly training with Louis van Gaal's side, and is awaiting an opportunity.
Seeing Ronaldo can act as inspiration for the youngster, and if he can get anywhere near to having half the success the Ballon d'Or winner is having, he will have achieved greatly.
