Former Manchester United and Liverpool striker Michael Owen is looking forward to today’s friendly international between Scotland and England.
Two of world football’s biggest rivals will take on each other at Celtic Park in Glasgow tonight.
Although the match is a ‘friendly’, one would expect both sets of players and fans to take the game seriously and fight for a win.
Ex-England international Owen is relishing the prospect of watching the Three Lions take on Scotland tonight and wrote on Sportlobster.com on Monday: “International football has lost a little appeal in recent years with our national team under performing but I'm buzzing for tomorrow's game.
“Scotland are flying under Gordon Strachan and the atmosphere at Celtic Park will be electric. The best atmosphere I ever played in was there in The UEFA Cup. Deafening.
“It's only a friendly tomorrow but I doubt it will be that friendly! These are the games you miss playing in.”
England will probably head into tonight’s match as the favourites, but Scotland have a strong team high on confidence and will be determined to show their rivals what they are capable of.
