Liverpool-owned striker Divock Origi has not exactly been in great form so far this season, but the 19-year-old was still handed a start for Belgium on Sunday.
The 19-year-old was in the Red Devils’ starting line-up against Wales in the Euro 2016 Group B qualifier in Brussels and played for 73 minutes.
Origi failed to score as the encounter ended in a goalless draw, but the Lille youngster gave a good account of himself.
The teenager could not get any real sights of goal himself, but he did link up well with the other Belgium attackers.
Origi will remain on loan at Lille until the end of the season and will return to Liverpool for the 2015-16 campaign.
Liverpool fans were impressed with the striker’s performance against Belgium and took to social networking site Twitter to have their say.
Below are the best reactions, including that of former Liverpool striker John Aldridge:

Things might seem tough ATM but the prospect of Origi next year brighten's my day. 60% of the time he works 100% of the time #LFC— John Dickinson (@JCDizzle) November 16, 2014
Origi looks some player. Starting ahead of Lukaku & Benteke again. Cant believe he is only 19! #LFC— Dean Jordan (@deanjordan16) November 16, 2014
Origi don ok showed decent movement for a 19 yr old.For the manager to put him in before lukaku and benteke shows how well he's thought of.— John Aldridge (@Realaldo474) November 16, 2014
