PHOTO: Arsene Wenger shakes hands with Jose Mourinho's cardboard cut-out

During an interview on French television, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was presented with a cardboard cut-out of Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.

Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho are bitter rivals, as shown by their shoving match on the Stamford Bridge touchline last month.

Their feud cranked up a notch earlier this year when the Chelsea boss branded the Arsenal manager a 'specialist in failure, having failed to win the Premier league since 2003/04.

It seems that Wenger cannot escape the Chelsea boss at present, whose side sit comfortably at the top of the Premier League after 11 games.

The Arsenal manager was giving an interview on a wide range of topics to French channel BeIN Sports, when he was presented with a cardboard cut-out of his adversary.

As tempted as he may have been to knock it down, Wenger showed there were no hard feelings beyond those in the heat of the moment in a game, as he shook hands with the object.

Whether he would find it quite so easy had Mourinho been there for real is another matter, for the Frenchman appears to be antagonised when he comes face to face with his nemesis.
