Day after Fosu-Mensah's United debut, club linked with countryman Juan Familia-Castillo

Could another young Holland player be on his way to Manchester United following the signature of Timothy Fosu-Mensah?

Manchester United have been linked with a possible move for Ajax youngster Juan Familia-Castillo.

The Daily Mail reports that the 14-year-old has been watched by United in two recent matches, with the reports coming just hours after the player’s former Ajax teammate Timothy Fosu-Mensah made his debut for United’s under-18s.

Fosu-Mensah signed from Ajax’s Academy in the summer, but had to wait until now to play having finally received international clearance; and according to the latest report he could be joined at Old Trafford by a player two years his junior.

Familia-Castillo is a left-footed winger who currently represents Holland’s under-15 side. Following the arrival of Fosu-Mensah – who is the captain of the Netherland’s under-17 team – it seems van Gaal is moving quickly to secure some of the best young talent in his homeland.

The report does not state if United are planning on making a move any time soon, but having swiftly signed Fosu-Mensah in the midst of a frantic summer transfer window, it appears Familia-Castillo could be next.
