Liverpool defender Kolo Toure is known for many things, scoring goals is not one of them.
So far the Ivorian defender has failed to find the back of the net for Liverpool and in club football he has not scored since he scored in a 4-3 win for Manchester City against Wolves in the Premier League - in January 2011.
He has had more recent luck with the Ivory Coast however. The Liverpool defender, who recently starred against Real Madrid in the Champions League, scored yesterday as the Ivory Coast defeated Sierra Leone 5-1 in a crucial African Cup of Nations qualifier in Abidjan.
It was his first goal since scoring for his nation in Morocco back in June of 2012 - 29 months ago.
It was of course not the prettiest of goals, nobody was expecting the Liverpool man to fire in a 35 yard screamer.
But with Liverpool's current attacking crop misfiring, fans would happily see Toure popping up with the odd goal every now and again.
