Twitter reacts to Santi Cazorla's Spain display against Belarus

Santi Cazorla Spain

There was varying opinion on Santi Cazorla's performance as Spain hammered Belarus 3-0.

Spain were back in Euro 2016 qualifying action tonight, this time taking on Belarus in Huelva, at the home of Recreativo - Santi Cazorla's former club.

Cazorla, 29, has been out of form for Arsenal this season but was handed the start tonight by Spain boss Vicente del Bosque, returning to the ground where he played for one season in 2006-07.

The former Malaga man was playing alongside his former Malaga team mate Isco, and the connection was evident between the two in patches during the game.

Spain ran out 3-0 winners, as Isco curled home a stunning first from the edge of the box, before Barcelona duo Sergio Busquets and Pedro added a goal each to seal the win.

It was a much needed win for Spain having lost to Slovakia last month, and it puts them back on course to qualify for Euro 2016 in France.

Cazorla's display was met with a wide range of reactions on Twitter. Some Spain fans felt he was 'lethargic' and some Arsenal fans believed it was 'same old Cazorla' tonight after an underwhelming start to the season.

Yet there were plenty who were impressed with Cazorla, asking where this version of him has been so far this season and praising his chemistry with Isco in midfield, whilst his deft flick for Pedro's goal earned praise too.

Here are the reactions from Twitter after Cazorla helped Spain to a fine 3-0 win...
