QPR's injury boost ahead of next match with Jordon Mutch ready to return

Jordon Mutch is ready to return for Queens Park Rangers.

Queens Park Rangers midfielder Jordon Mutch has been speaking following a successful appearance in a behind-closed-doors match for Harry Redknapp’s side.

Mutch has been side-lined with a hamstring injury since September and has not played a full 90 minutes since the third game of the season.

But that looks about to change with the 22-year-old keen to get back on the pitch for a first-team who desperately need him.

QPR are currently 19th in the Premier League table having picked up just eight points from their first 11 matches. But that is something Mutch will be hoping to change in the weeks and months ahead.

Speaking to QPR’s official website the player said, “I felt good and I’m looking forward to getting back involved with the first-team when called upon.

“Hopefully I can kick on now though because I feel great.”

Mutch set up a vital goal in his last appearance before his injury, ensuring QPR got a share of the points in a 2-2 draw with Stoke City. But it is time they start getting some wins on the board as they look to climb away from the bottom three.
