The Tottenham paid may have been happy to get away from the pressure at White Hart Lane.

Argentina players, including Tottenham duo Erik Lamela and Federico Fazio, looked at ease as they gathered in a hotel room in Manchester ahead of their next international fixture.

Valencia defender Nicolas Otamendi captured nine of the squad posing for a picture before uploading it  to his Twitter account.

Both Spurs players featured in the win over Croatia a couple of days ago, with Fazio playing the full 90 minutes in the centre of defence and Lamela coming on as a late substitute.

They are set to face a Portugal side led by record European Championship scorer Cristiano Ronaldo on Tuesday night, in what will be a meeting of Angel di Maria and the Real Madrid star at Old Trafford, a place of importance to both players of course.

Fazio will be looking to push on once he returns to Spurs, given the fact that he has been underwhelming in his minimal games so far in North London. The former Sevilla man has received his marching orders in 2 of his 8 games, also giving away 2 penalties.

Lamela will also be eager to win his place back in the starting line up, having found himself on the substitutes bench for the last two Premier League fixtures.
