Let's cast our eyes back to this exact day, the 15th November 2014, but a year earlier.
What were the main tales from that day? What big events were happening in Premier League football?
Here are some of the big scoops from the 15th November 2013…
Adam Lallana had just made his way into the England team a year ago and he revealed how an Arsenal player was behind his success.
He says that watching Santi Cazorla perform a master-class against him while a Southampton player was the catalyst for an up turn in form.
Lallana, who of course is now a Liverpool player, stated:
"The best player I've played against was easily Santi Cazorla at Arsenal.
"We played them early last season, and lost 6-1. It was a technical masterclass from him.
"He can turn, he can pivot off either side of the foot, and it was a great learning experience playing against him."
Cazorla has recently been off the boil for Arsenal and Lallana has not replicated his best form at Liverpool since his £25 million move from Southampton.
The Chelsea boss was in attendance as Colombia took on Belgium, with Falcao of Monaco reportedly the man he was keeping tabs on.
Falcao then helped rumours by stating:
"I hope to make a good impression on him in the match.
"Would I like to play in the Premier League? It’s one of the most important leagues in the world."
Of course Falcao did not end up at Chelsea. He suffered a serious knee injury not long after this game whilst playing for Monaco.
But, fully fit again, Manchester United snapped him up on loan this summer.
But with United reportedly unsure over whether to pursue a permanent deal, perhaps Chelsea could swoop this time.
