Liverpool morning news: Two more join striker chase; alleged target speaks

Anfield Night

A select round-up of the latest news relating to Liverpool

Italian clubs Juventus and Inter Milan are the latest sides to show an interest in reported Liverpool target Saido Berahino according to the Sun.

The West Bromwich Albion forward is enjoying a fine season and has earned his first England call-up as a result, but with Liverpool reportedly one of the clubs heavily interested in the youngster, they may not be happy to hear that some of Italy’s finest have now allegedly joined the race.

Given the Reds’ struggles up front this season the addition of Berahino would be smart business but the Baggies are unlikely to sell unless they absolutely have to.

In other news, there could be better news regarding another reported Liverpool target with Cristoph Kramer, who has expressed an interest in playing in England.

The Daily Star reports that the midfielder told the Berliner Morgenpost he would not be afraid to move abroad and that such a switch had always interested him.
