Manchester United's on-loan striker Radamel Falcao spent Friday evening watching his Colombian teammates in a friendly match against USA at Fulham's Craven Cottage.
The 28-year-old is currently recovering from a series of niggling injuries meaning he was not involved for his country in their 2-1 win. But he still took the time to support them and later headed back to Manchester to continue his pursuit of optimum fitness.
Posting a picture of himself on Instagram on Saturday afternoon, the United player wrote, 'Returned by train from London to Manchester to continue the trainers.'
Falcao was pictured last week with United youngster Andreas Pereira following a training session and Louis van Gaal will be hoping he is soon able to play once more.
With games coming up against Arsenal, Southampton and Liverpool, United could do with a player who scores with such frightening regularity when fit. And his fans and manager alike are sure to be pleased that he is now aiming to get back to training in a bid to do just that.
