Aston Villa, Bayern Munich, Athletic Bilbao, Sevilla and AS Roma stars all feature.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was reportedly given a £20 million transfer budget for January earlier this week so how might he spend it?
Here are five players linked with joining Arsenal from the past seven days.
Ron Vlaar (Aston Villa)
Arsenal are one of the sides linked with signing the Villa skipper, as they look for ways to sure up their defence this winter. They have Manchester United to compete against but his agent has revealed he’s an ambitious player and could be tempted into moving on.
Xherdan Shaqiri (Bayern Munich)
Arsenal are one of the sides thought to have an interest in the Swiss winger. Reports suggest that Juventus are ready to open the bidding at £18 million with Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur also thought to be interested in summer deals.
Aymeric Laporte (Athletic Bilbao)
The 20-year-old is rated as one of the most talented young defenders in Europe. He’d cost more than £20 million which pushes Arsenal behind the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United if reports of their winter budget are accurate.
Grzegorz Krychowiak (Sevilla)
Reports suggest Arsenal are interested in an £18 million deal for the Sevilla midfielder. They could certainly do with another holding midfield player in their squad, although a deal for him would see Wenger blow most of his transfer budget.
Mattia Destro (AS Roma)
Destro has been linked with a whole host of Premier League clubs dating back to the start of last summer. He fits the bill in terms of the attacking players Arsene Wenger likes but whether he’d move to a club where he won’t be first choice is doubtful.
