‘Huddersfield tipped to beat Newcastle United and Crewe to youngster’
The 18-year-old winger is thought to have been the subject of interest from Newcastle United and Crewe Alexandra.
However, Huddersfield are reported to have made a £100,000 offer for the player, as they look to bypass the interest in him from other clubs.
‘Blades sponsor to re-evaluate position’
John Holland Sales, a car retailer based in Sheffield, has said it will re-consider its sponsorship of the club in relation to the situation surrounding Ched Evans.
It was confirmed earlier this week that Evans will resume training with the Blades after his release from jail for a rape conviction.
JHS has said it will review the situation should Sheffield United hand Evans a contract to play for the club again.
‘Evans praises Rotherham fans’
Rotherham United manager Steve Evans has praised the club’s fans after a difficult start to life in the Championship for his side.
Evans has talked up his club’s and suggested that they would have gone home from the 0-0 draw against Sheffield Wednesday last weekend disappointed.
“The backing on Saturday were willing us to go and score a goal and they deserved us to go and score. I thought they were fantastic but, to be fair, they give us that every week,” he told the South Yorkshire Times.
