A round up of news stories this morning about Tottenham Hotspur.
PSV boss Phillip Cocu has admitted that Dutch winger Memphis Depay will be sold.
Depay was linked with Tottenham Hotspur over the summer but a deal never materialised.
“Of course Memphis will be sold, you can't stop that but it's okay. It's great you can build up a player like him, who breaks through, succeeds at PSV then leaves the club when he's ready for a bigger step. That's great,” Cocu told Helden.
England under-21 boss Gareth Southgate has revealed that Eric Dier rejected the chance to play for the under-21 side.
Tottenham’s summer signing is keen to try and win his place at centre back with Spurs.
“Long term we both agree that he is unlikely to be a full-back and is going to be a centre-half. Without wishing Mauricio a problem, I think I agree with that so we said he will stay [with Spurs]” said Southgate.
Paulinho continues to be linked with a move back to his homeland of Brazil.
The midfielder is being linked with an exit from Spurs after failing to make a single Premier League start this season.
