There were not many faces around for Arsenal training this morning.
Arsenal's London Colney training ground is something of a lonely place at the moment, what with the international break in full flow.
Those that are not away on international duty on a senior level are likely to be away with junior teams. Meanwhile plenty of others are still on the treatment table.
Of course there are the occasional lost souls who are either returning to first-team football because of injury or have simply been left out of their respective international squads.
Those players got into action at Arsenal today.
Firstly there was a boost in the return of Olivier Giroud from his broken tibia. He should be back in action shortly after the international break.
Meanwhile Per Mertesacker was hanging around. The German retired from international football after winning the World Cup this summer. Meanwhile Dan Crowley was also in action as he did not get picked for England youth teams, as he decided whether to play for England or the Republic of Ireland.
Here are some photos of them in action today at a cold and lonely Arsenal training ground.
