Leeds United head coach Neil Redfearn will still be riding high on the wave of momentum created by the 3-1 win against Blackpool last weekend.
The Whites went into that game as strong favourites for three points and they didn’t disappoint, producing an entertaining display of football, which was triggered by Liam Cooper’s superb strike from just outside the edge of the area.
Redfearn has stressed the need for his side not to get complacent as the international break kicks into action, promising to work his players hard in training ahead of the club’s next league game against Blackburn Rovers.
That will present a different challenge altogether as Blackburn are flying high in the Championship and look good for a position in and around the play-off places for most of this season.
If Leeds can get a result at Ewood Park, it will nudge them up towards the first half of the table and maintain the confidence and belief in the side, which Redfearn has been talking about over the last few days.
