Tottenham Hotspur have been put through the ringer recently. The club have been struggling for points under Mauricio Pochettino with the players not living up to expectations under the new boss, and failing him in the most recent games.
They need something to give them a boost at the moment. Hopefully they will get a boost from the timely return of one of their star players.
Kyle Walker has been out injured since March with an abdominal injury, which required surgery in September. Walker had his World Cup dreams dashed by the injury and Walker is a player needed by Tottenham at the moment, although they may be clutching at straws.
Now Tottenham Hotspur can begin to get used to the idea of him coming back into action with the club.
While the majority of the Tottenham squad was off enjoying their international break, the ones that were left behind and those recovering from injury got involved in training.
Tottenham Hotspur shared this picture on Twitter earlier today showing that Walker is back in full training. Reports earlier today suggested that may not happen until next week, but they have clearly moved their plans forward in that respect.
So it looks like Walker might be back in action soon, after eight months out of action.
