The Tottenham star's majestic Rabona goal against Asteras unsurprisingly took the vast majority of the vote.
Tottenham haven't been in the news for the best of reasons in recent weeks - poor Premier League form has overshadowed decent Europa League results, with Erik Lamela's astonishing Rabona goal last month almost forgotten about already.
Well, not completely forgotten, after it was voted the goal of the month through the club's official website and social media platforms.
Accruing 83.7% of the vote, the former Roma forward's effort, where he wrapped his left foot behind his right leg, powerfully flicking the ball in the top corner from the edge of the box, finished way ahead of Christian Eriksen's winner against Southampton in second place.
As it turned out, Lamela's wonderful goal was one of the few things for Spurs fans to get excited about in October.
Harry Kane's superb form throughout the month, including his hat trick against Asteras in the same game as the goal of the month winner, was another highlight, though that was somewhat dampened considering his, and the side's poor displays during home defeats to Stoke and Newcastle as we moved into November. The forward missed a guilt edged effort against the Potters in the early stages of last weekend's 2-1 defeat, having been championed for a starting role by the Tottenham faithful.
Though Kane's star is still very much on the rise despite the Stoke game, the same cannot be said for Lamela, who has started the last two Premier League games on the bench for Mauricio Pochettino's side, having failed to impress in the Newcastle game that followed his Rabona goal.
The Argentine must surely know that despite a penchant for the spectacular, something he is more than capable of providing, what is really needed is strong, results focused performances in the Premier League.
But having said all that, such was the quality of the 22-year-old's second goal for the club, it isn't too much of a stretch to give Lamela at least a few more chances of succeeding at White Hart Lane.
