The developers say feedback will help them "get ready for continuing free content Updates for Grand Theft Auto Online, including Online Heists."
Rockstar has reiterated in a news post on it's site that it's long-fabled Online Heists mode for GTA Online "will be available for all four consoles to enjoy." This update comes just a week before the launch of GTA V on PS4 and Xbox One consoles. It goes on to say they're counting on feedback to help tweak "future dynamic tuning changes and Title Updates," and that fans' feedback will help them "get ready" for future free content for GTA Online, "including the highly-anticipated launch of Online Heists."
Rockstar did mention the long-awaited heists mode last week, but gave no time frame for its arrival other than "soon."
The update also reminds fans that their feedback on the game is important. Rockstar said, "with the advent of First Person Mode, 30-player Online support and other new features made possible by the new systems, your feedback, help and guidance is more important than ever to help us make the game experience all it can be."
This reminder to the fans will be invaluable as online game launches are often met with many teething problems, so Rockstar wants to make sure people who buy the game next week know where to report any bugs or issues. Their support page is the first port of call, and they also mention the GTAOnline@rockstargames.com "official player feedback inbox," which they say has been responsible for "tons of positive changes" made to GTA Online since its release last year.
A day one update implementing "some last tweaks and optimization fixes for game day" is to be expected by Monday next week also.
The post goes on to highlight some of the changes in the new-gen versions of GTA V including the increase to 30-player capacity of GTA Online, the "next generation character creator," the new first-person mode, and double the amount of props in the creator tool. Check out the new screenshots below.
