A round up of news stories this morning about Tottenham Hotspur.
Tottenham legend Jurgen Klinsmann has backed Mauricio Pochettino.
Klinsmann has suggested that the Argentine has the intelligence to help pull Spurs through a difficult period in their season.
“I wish Mauricio only the best. I think he's a tremendously talented coach. He's shown that already. He's got a smart brain. We'll see over time how things work out,” he’s quoted by the Mirror.
Former Liverpool midfielder Don Hutchinson has joined Gary Neville in suggesting there are weak players at Tottenham.
Both feel Mauricio Pochettino has a number of weaker players within his first team squad.
“If I was Pochettino I wouldn’t be thinking how many players I could bring in. Its how many I could get rid of!!! So many WEAK Characters!!” he wrote on Twitter.
Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor claimed yesterday that Spurs’ first team stars are worried about playing in front of their home crowd.
Several Spurs players were booed as the side lost last weekend against Stoke City.
“In football people forget so quickly what you have done - When you are playing in front of your own crowd you want them to support you. But now it is like going through a sad moment,” said Adebayor.
