The Daily Mail claims Brazilian clubs Gremio and Flamengo are interested in offering Anderson a way out of Manchester United.
The 26-year-old Brazilian midfielder has fallen out of favour at Old Trafford ever since he lost his first team place back in the Sir Alex Ferguson era.
“Manchester United misfit Anderson is being pursued by clubs in Brazil who believe he can leave Old Trafford early on a free transfer,” reports the Mail.
“Flamengo wanted to sign him in August but could not agree a wage package on top of a fee.”
“His first club Gremio, however, are considered favourites this time and have held tentative discussions with United happy to let him go.”
It seems as though there is going to have to be a bit of give and take on all fronts if Anderson wants to lave United and start playing regular football.
From his point of view, he’ll more than likely have to drop the wage expectations that he’s been enjoying at Manchester United.
From the point of view of the Brazilian clubs, they may have to stump up some sort of fee to try and get the deal done to prevent him joining a side for a higher personal package at the end of the season.
While he stays at United and isn’t playing, he’s simply costing Louis van Gaal’s side money so it makes sense to try and reach a solution, which benefits everyone.
