TV 2 of Norway claims Liverpool have invited £12 million rated Norwegian teenager Martin Odegaard to Anfield and Melwood before Christmas.
Similarly to Odegaard’s trip to Barcelona, the intention seems to be to show the youngster around the club’s facilities with the Reds one of the club’s thought to be keen on signing the player from current side Stromsgodset.
Odegaard is thought to favour a move to Liverpool ahead of any other club so this is a move in the right direction for the club as they look to beat the likes of Barca, Manchester United and Chelsea to his signature.
Odegaard has also just visited Real Madrid as the vast number of clubs interested in him battle to grab his attention for when he’s old enough to commit to a move to one of Europe’s top clubs.
If Liverpool manage to get him it will be a superb investment by the club and a great statement that they’re a solid option for the best youngsters across Europe.
