Manager Alan Pardew is copping flak for playing Rolando Aarons in Newcastle's recent win over Liverpool.
Newcastle United received bad news on Tuesday when the news broke that Rolando Aarons will miss a month with a hamstring injury.
The Shields Gazette reported how Aarons will be out until December, having only recently returned from six weeks out of action.
It's a real blow to Newcastle, with Aarons a key figure in back-to-back wins against Manchester City and Liverpool.
Aarons played both of those games, within four days of each other, and while Newcastle came out on top on both occasions, it has clearly come at a cost.
His handling has come under fire from Newcastle fans on Twitter, with boss Alan Pardew accused by some of acting to save his own job, and not thinking long-term over Aarons.
There may be a little desperation on Pardew's side in recent weeks, but the run of wins has lifted that, and it does not seem as though Aarons is himself blaming the manager for his injury.

Playing in such statement wins over Liverpool and Manchester City will have been amazing to experience for the young talent, and if asked before his early injury whether he would have taken the way this scenario has panned out, it's likely he would have.
The good news is the impact of his injury is limited by the international break, meaning there are less games for the winger to miss.
With a new contract to negotiate too, coming back for the two big wins has been huge to his chances of landing an improved deal.
Here's how fans reacted to the news of his injury breaking yesterday:
Aarons out for a month Cisse struggling De Jong on crutches. This all stems from AP and rushing them back to save his own arse #nufc— Lee (@lee_wilson1) November 11, 2014
I still dont like Parders but now fans are blaming him for Aaron's being injured again, doubt we'd have beat city if Aarons didnt play #nufc— Gregory Hancock (@_Greggers) November 11, 2014

Pardew played Aarons when he was injured, now hes out until December. Suppose it might put a team putting in a bid for him in January— Randall Bell (@randallbell) November 11, 2014
