Manchester United loanee is in training, rather than sitting on the sidelines.
Monaco striker Radamel Falcao is continuing his battle to return to fitness for loan club Manchester United.
The Colombian had scored one goal in three starts for the club, until a minor knee problem kept him out of the club's last three fixtures.
He is also absent from international duty this week, with the striker aiming to get fit for the November 22 Premier League clash away to Arsenal.
He posted a message yesterday on his Instagram page, stating he was 'Ready to train with the best motivation', offering positive news that he is in fact training, and not in rehab nursing an injury.
Falcao's motivation is clear, he wants to prove his doubters wrong, after a newspaper reported this week that Manchester United could decide against the deal to sign him permanently due to concerns over his fitness.
The striker had used Twitter to offer a firm rebuttal to the suggestions, labelling those who had planted the seeds of doubt as 'fools'.
One fool speculates. A few others lacking objectivity respond and millions believe lies. It is disastrous what a few fools can do.— Radamel Falcao (@FALCAO) November 10, 2014
The Guardian last night reported that Falcao's chances of featuring against Arsenal in a fortnight do not look good, but United fans can take heart that this will simply be another report the striker will be desperate to prove wrong.
