Manchester United have received a major boost in their quest to finish in the top four of the Premier League this season with the return to training of Rafael da Silva.
The Brazil international defender trained on Tuesday and made it known on Instagram.
Rafael has been suffering with a muscle problem since last month and missed the Premier League clash against Manchester City earlier this month.
The 24-year-old also sat out the game against Crystal Palace at Old Trafford at the weekend which ended in 1-0 win for United.
Rafael’s return to training means that he is now likely to be available for the Red Devils' match against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in North London after the international break.
The Brazilian right-back did not start the season well, but he gradually came into form and established himself as a key member of United’s defence.
In six Premier League appearances, Rafael has created five chances and has a 86% pass accuracy. He has won 52% of his duels and has made eight defensive actions.
