Tottenham Hotspur morning news: Pochettino worried, Yedlin transfer latest

A round up of news stories this morning about Tottenham Hotspur.

Mauricio Pochettino fears he won’t be given the time and space to develop at Spurs.

Tottenham fell to their fourth defeat after a Europa League game this season as they went down 2-1 against Stoke City last weekend.

“In football you always need time to implement different methods but we need to improve quickly because you never have a long time in football,” said the boss.

The boss says he needs to change the mentality of his players to create a winning environment and a positive atmosphere.

“Always in football you need time – there are different methods and philosophy but we need to improve quick - We are here for four months, we know the players and the players know me. We feel the same, very disappointed,” said Pochettino.

Seattle defender DeAndre Yedlin could be about to join Spurs this January.

A deal has already been arranged with the only complication over whether the full-back will move this winter or this summer.

The Daily Mirror has reported that the player is likely to receive a Latvian passport in two weeks, which will enable him to move in January.
