Under-fire Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor has said the whole team are suffering from a lack of support.
The Togo international was benched at the weekend, but suggested he is not the only one finding it difficult, and believes the players are struggling in particular to play at White Hart Lane.
The 30-year-old says Spurs fans need to be more welcoming, and are not helping the cause.
He told The Mail: "Right now, to tell you the truth, I think a lot of players when they put on the shirt and go out on to the pitch, are finding it hard in the head.
“Obviously I have been through a lot in life so I am used to it. But it’s kind of hard when you know the first bad ball you make the fans are going to boo you.
"It now it is like going through a sad moment and your family not welcoming you home.
“That’s the worst thing ever because you have nowhere to go. At the moment I don’t know whether we should play at home or whether we should play away."
The striker will not helping his own cause, but clearly felt the need to get the comments off his chest as Spurs head into the international break.
