While Arsenal were preparing for their Premier League clash against Swansea City on Saturday, two of the injured players were training in order to regain full fitness.
David Ospina and Mathieu Debuchy are long-term injury concerns and are not part of today’s matchday squad. However, the two summer signings are doing all they can to regain full fitness.
On Saturday, Colombia international goalkeeper Ospina, who joined Arsenal from Nice in the summer transfer window for a reported fee of £3 million, posted a video of him training along with Debuchy, who cost the Gunners £12m to recruit from Newcastle United.
Debuchy was signed in the summer as a direct replacement for departed right-back Bacary Sagna and has been sidelined since mid-September with an ankle injury. Meanwhile, Ospina has been out with a thigh problem since October.
