The Tottenham Hotspur striker is currently feeling the wrath of his team-mates, according to a report.
The Togolese forward allegedly invited French-speaking Newcastle United players into the Spurs dressing room just minutes after their 2-1 defeat to Alan Pardew's side two weeks ago.
The move is said to have enraged Adebayor's team-mates, while boss Mauricio Pochettino is reported to feel 'let down' by the 30-year-old.
Questions now hover regarding the Tottenham man's future - as if there weren't enough already.
Adebayor has been in poor form so far this campaign and Spurs supporters have been left exasperated by Pochettino's continued insistence on playing the striker instead of the in-form Harry Kane in the Premier League.
It remains to be seen whether Kane will finally earn a league start against Stoke City later today - and perhaps the anger of the Tottenham squad may finally make that outcome a reality.
It will not say much for Pochettino's trust in Kane if that's what it takes to finally persuade him, of course, but the first priority will be to get Adebayor out of the first team if the claims are true.
