Danny Rose had to be treated after the game for 10 minutes after a mystery ailment.
Tottenham Hotspur suffered yet another poor result today as they were outdone by Stoke City at White Hart Lane.
They lost 2-1 thanks to goals from Bojan Krkic, his first of his Stoke career, and Jonathan Walters. Despite a smashed finish from Nacer Chadli late on Tottenham could not force a point against The Potters.
But that was not all they lost from the game.
They lost their right-back Kyle Naughton to suspension, after he was sent off late on. There will also be some concerns for the welfare of left-back Danny Rose.
Rose, who had an excellent start to the season, is a divisive member of the Tottenham team. Some fans like him, some fans hate him - but all were concerned when he went to ground at the final whistle.
Rose was treated on the pitch for around 10 minutes after the game, as the stadium spilled out into the cold London streets.
Of course the concern was fair, especially with memories of Fabrice Muamba's heart attack at The Lane still fresh in the mind.
But luckily it does not appear to be anything as severe as that. It would appear the exertions got to Rose and he simply ran out of steam.
The Tottenham Hotspur star still needed to take on an oxygen mask to help him trudge off the pitch - however Tottenham have made it clear he is OK.
It seems acute fatigue was the issue and Rose is not likely to miss any action.
