Adryan, Stephen Warnock and skipper Jason Pearce also took to social media after Neil Redfearn secured his first win as Leeds' permanent manager.

Alex Mowatt, Lewis Cook, and Liam Cooper led the celebrations on Twitter as Leeds United secured their first win since Neil Redfearn took over as the side's permanent manager.

Goals from defender Cooper and strikers Mirco Antenucci and Souleymane Doukara secured the 3-1 victory over Championship strugglers Blackpool.

And Redfearn was understandably pleased...

“I thought we were excellent in the first half, some of the movement and the passing was different class,” the 49-year-old told reporters after the game.

“That was as good as I’ve seen them play. It could have been anything. It wasn’t just the pressure, it was good football culminating in three goals.

“The second half was a damp squib, but the result was the main thing and that came off the back of a good first half.

“It was a good, important win and I thought we earned it. We never gave Blackpool a chance to settle, the start was excellent and for the first 10 minutes we were like a whirlwind.”

Redfearn's players, meanwhile, were just as happy on social media after the game.

Indeed, Mowatt, Stephen Warnock, Cook, captain Jason Pearce, Adryan and goalscorer Cooper all took to Twitter to celebrate the win!
