CONFIRMED: Swansea and Arsenal line-ups

Swansea Liberty Stadium

Here is how Swansea City and Arsenal will line up for this afternoon’s match:

Swansea starting XI: Fabianski, Rangel, Bartley, Williams, Taylor, Ki, Carroll, Sigurdsson, Emnes, Montero, Bony

Swansea subs: Tremmel, Tiendalli, Amat, Britton, Fulton, Barrow, Gomis

Arsenal starting XI: Szczesny, Chambers, Mertesacker, Monreal, Gibbs, Flamini, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ramsey, Cazorla, Alexis, Welbeck

Arsenal subs: Martinez, Bellerin, Rosicky, Wilshere, Podolski, Walcott, Sanogo

Swansea City and Arsenal go head-to-head at the Liberty Stadium this afternoon with both sides knowing they have what it takes to come away with the three points.

The Swans are enjoying an outstanding campaign and they will be quietly confident of getting another three points against an Arsenal side rocking from their capitulation against Anderlecht in the Champions League last week.

Swansea boss Garry Monk will no doubt be targeting the Gunners' suspect defence and in Wilfried Bony he has a front-man who can cause Arsenal’s back-line all sorts of problems.

But Arsene Wenger will want to get his players back on course and will see this as the ideal opportunity.

With only Chelsea and Southampton winning more points at home this season than today’s hosts, Arsenal would be wise to be very wary.
