Everton will be looking to maintain their challenge a top-four finish in the Premier League with victory over Sunderland this afternoon.
The Toffees will head into today’s match at the Stadium of Light placed 10th in the league table with 13 points from 10 matches, five points behind fourth-placed West Ham United.
Roberto Martinez’s side started the 2014-15 season poorly, but they have shown signs of improvement in recent weeks.
Meanwhile, Sunderland will be determined to move away from the Premier League relegation zone. At the moment, Gus Poyet’s side are 15th in the standings with 11 points from 10 matches, just two points above the bottom three.
