Manchester United climbed up the Premier League table as Juan Mata's second-half goal secured victory over stubborn Crystal Palace.

Juan Mata's third goal of the season secured a 1-0 victory for Manchester United over Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon. The Spaniard came off the bench during the second half to make his match-winning contribution in the 66th minute.

This result saw Manchester United record their first win in four games, and despite what Louis van Gaal has described as a 'lousy' start to the season, the Red Devils are maintaining the pace with an eye on the top four.
