Arsenal fans react on Twitter to Calum Chambers performance v Swansea City

Mathieu Debuchy and Arsenal celebrate (Chambers included)

Calum Chambers will be having nightmares about Jefferson Montero tonight.

Arsenal suffered yet another setback today after they were beaten 2-1 by Swansea City at The Liberty Stadium. Two goals in quick succession from The Swans did for The Gunners in what was a great comeback victory - after Alexis Sanchez gave Arsenal the lead.

In all honesty, it was the result the game deserved.

Swansea were the better team for most of the game and Arsenal simply did not do enough to earn three points.

There were some good performances, but not many. Alexis Sanchez had his moments - but Aaron Ramsey, Nacho Monreal and Calum Chambers in particular were very poor.

The England international arrived at Arsenal for £16 million in the summer, leaving Southampton for Champions League football.

So far he has impressed at The Emirates, he even won the August player of the month.

But that was playing at centre-back, where he is clearly better then out wide. Today he proved it.

He was torn apart by Swansea's winger Jefferson Montero in the pouring rain in South Wales. He simply did not have the pace or power to keep up with him and he was also making too many silly mistakes in possession.

He is still young, so Arsenal fans can let it go for now. But the hope will be Chambers is back playing centre-back soon after this showing.

Here are some Tweets on Chambers' performance...
