Prior to the Premier League clash against Crystal Palace, Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has hinted that he could start Paddy McNair.
The Dutchman joked that the 19-year-old could be the lucky charm, having won both the league matches he had started this season (click here to read more).
McNair maintained that winning record as United won on Saturday, getting the better of Palace 1-0 at Old Trafford to retain their chances of a top-four finish in the Premier League.

As stats above show, the Northern Irishman had a good game overall, despite a defensive mistake in the first half.
Teenage defender McNair was a rock at centre-back, and gave a strong and calm display at the back. Against Palace, he looked mature and good on the ball, and kept Fraizer Campbell quiet.
McNair is still not considered a first-choice centre-back by Van Gaal, but he is making a real strong case for himself.
