The injured pair have a chance of featuring, says Leeds boss Neil Redfearn.
The duo have suffered injury troubles lately but the Leeds coach said he would test them out in training on Friday.
Depending on how that session went, both players could potentially be in the frame to face the Championship's bottom side in Blackpool.
It is only a 'maybe,' of course, but the chance is still there.
“They’ve both done a lot more this week and I’m hoping they’re going to be involved today,” Redfearn told reporters on Friday.
“If we can get a session out of them then we can maybe think about them for tomorrow.”
Leeds have missed Austin's physicality in midfield, with the 29-year-old generally impressing so far this season.
Sharp, meanwhile, had previously admitted his frustration at a lack of playing time and his latest fitness set back will no doubt have frustrated him further. The striker will hope he is given a chance to prove himself when he returns. Perhaps against Blackpool.
