Alex Song talks about his rabona: 'It comes naturally!'

The West Ham star recently completed the skill against Manchester City in the Premier League.

Alex Song says his ability to do a rabona 'comes naturally' after the West Ham United midfielder completed the skill against Manchester City in the Premier League.

The Hammers beat the defending champions 2-1 that day and Song completed the skill when landing a cross.

The movement involves twisting your opposite leg behind your leading foot and kicking the ball in an unconventional way.

Erik Lamela recently scored a sensational goal for Tottenham Hotspur with that very technique and Song reproduced it a few days later while making a cross.

"It comes naturally," he is quoted as saying (while laughing) by the Daily Mail. "I’m looking to try it to make people happy but I’m mainly looking to try it to create a good opportunity."

The 27-year-old also insists he 'can do more' for his side as he has not yet hit full fitness.

"At the moment, I’m not fit like I want to be," he explained.

"I have a little bit of a problem with my knee. I can't train like I want to. Hopefully soon that will be finished. And when I’m not starting to feel nothing you will see more from me. I know I can do more."
