West Ham United fans react on Twitter to Sam Allardyce and Diafra Sakho winning Premier League awards

West Ham United supporters take to social networking site Twitter to have their say on Sam Allardyce and Diafra Sakho winning prestigious awards on Friday.

West Ham United duo Sam Allardyce and Diafra Sakho are having a good day.

While Allardyce has won the Premier League Manager of the Month award for October, Sakho has been adjudged as the best player in the English top flight for last month.

October was a great month for the Hammers, who moved up to fourth in the league table thanks to wins against Queens Park Rangers, Manchester City and Burnley.

Sakho, too, had a brilliant month on a personal level. The 24-year-old striker scored in all three league games last month and increase his overall tally to seven goals in seven starts following his move from French outfit Metz in the summer transfer window.

Senegal international Sakho was delighted to have won the award and took to social networking site Twitter to revel in it.
