Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert feels Charles N'Zogbia will be an important weapon against West Ham.
Villa have been in dire form over recent weeks, losing their last six fixtures, but Lambert has not given up hope and he feels that N'Zogbia can be an attacking outlet for the side on Saturday.
The Claret and Blue have scored just once during their losing streak, but Lambert thinks that the French forward can help them start showing more threat in offensive situations due to his quality.
"Charles has a talent," Lambert said to the club's official site. "He sees things a lot of people won't see and if he can replicate what he did on Sunday [against Tottenham Hotspur] then he'll definitely be a big threat."
Villa had actually started the season in good form, but they have slipped down the table at an alarming rate due to their struggles lately.
Their lack of goals is a major concern and only a big improvement in performance levels will see them get back to winning ways.
N'Zogbia is one of the players who has been guilty of under-performing, even if his display in a 2-1 loss to Spurs pleased his manager.
The former Wigan Athletic man is a natural dribbler and is blessed with great pace, but he is still yet to hit the back of the net this season and has only one assist to his name.
That is simply not good enough given the responsibility Villa put on his shoulders and he will need to start influencing games more if they are to avoid the drop.
N'Zogbia could have his work cut out this weekend too, as West Ham are one of the most in-form sides in the division.
The Hammers are filled with confidence after a brilliant start which has lifted them into fifth in the table and they will be strong favourites to collect the three points on Saturday.
