Bayern Munich, Swansea City, Malaga, Lille and Cruzeiro stars all feature.
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers spent big and spent hard last summer when he improved his squad options for a higher volume of matches this season.
Liverpool could go again this winter, with several top quality players linked with an Anfield switch.
Here are five of the best players tipped to sign for the club from the past week.
Xherdan Shaqiri (Bayern Munich)
He was linked last summer, he was linked this winter and if Liverpool don’t sign him this January, he’ll probably be linked next summer too. FC Schalke have reportedly pulled out of the race to get him, with the Reds one of the sides tipped to take advantage.
Wilfried Bony (Swansea City)
Bony has been suggested as a centre forward option for Liverpool, if Rodgers feels he wants to bring in another player up front. He’s being tipped to sign a new deal with the Welsh club, which has prompted speculation that Liverpool could swoop to try and prevent that possibility.
Guillermo Ochoa (Malaga)
Liverpool have been linked with a £5 million move for the Malaga goalkeeper as competition for Simon Mignolet in the first team squad. Ochoa was in superb form for Mexico at last summer’s World Cup.
Simon Kjaer (Lille)
Kjaer has been linked with coming into Liverpool as a squad option in defence. However, he only moved to Lille last year and has also revealed that he and his family are happy having just settled down in France.
Everton Ribeiro (Cruzeiro)
Tuttosport linked Liverpool with a move for the 25-year-old attacking midfielder and winger earlier this week. Rodgers seems to like versatile attacking players who can play in a number of different positions and Ribeiro appears to fit the bill.
