Spurs announce injury updates ahead of Stoke City clash

HITC Sport Breaking News

Mauricio Pochettino's side have released an injury update ahead of Sunday's Premier League game against Stoke.

Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed who will miss their Premier League clash with Stoke City on Sunday and who will return to the squad after missing out on Thursday's Europa League tie with Asteras Tripolis.

Kyle Walker and Nabil Bentaleb remain sidelined and will not take part against the Potters through injury.

However, goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, skipper Younes Kaboul, full-back Kyle Naughton and striker Emmanuel Adebayor will all return to the squad after missing out on Thursday's Europa League game.

Tottenham won that match 2-1, with Harry Kane finding the back of the net yet again.

And one of the most intriguing selection choices facing boss Mauricio Pochettino will be whether to pick the 21-year-old again in the Premier League.

Adebayor faced Aston Villa last week but it was not until Kane came on that Spurs scored, with the striker going on to get the winner himself.

Will Pochettino, then, drop Adebayor against Stoke in favour of Kane?

Lloris will return in goal, having missed Thursday's European match through suspension.
