Robbie Savage's Liverpool XI v Chelsea: Henderson out, Toure in, changes up front

The BBC pundit has picked his Liverpool XI for tomorrow's crunch Premier League clash with table-toppers Chelsea.

Robbie Savage would keep Jordan Henderson out of Liverpool's starting XI against Chelsea tomorrow.

The midfielder was dropped by boss Brendan Rodgers for the Champions League tie against Real Madrid earlier this week and BBC pundit Savage would keep Henderson out of the side.

Several of those who started against the European champions would retain their place, if the Welshman had his way, with Kolo Toure, Emre Can, Fabio Borini and Adam Lallana all his suggested picks for the Premier League tie against the Blues.

Savage's Liverpool XI: Mignolet, Moreno, Toure, Skrtel, Johnson, Gerrard, Can, Lallana, Coutinho, Sterling, Borini.

Naturally, Savage would opt to bring captain Steven Gerrard back into the equation, after it appeared Rodgers rested him specifically to feature in the Chelsea game.

Raheem Sterling and Philippe Coutinho would also return to the starting XI according to the Welshman's pick in his weekly column for BBC Sport.

The key question, however, is whether that line-up is good enough to get a result against Jose Mourinho's men at Anfield tomorrow lunchtime.
