Paul Merson: I really think QPR can get something against 'struggling' Manchester City

The Sky Sports pundit is backing Queens Park Rangers to draw with the Premier League champions.

Paul Merson is backing QPR to get a draw against Manchester City this weekend.

Harry Redknapp's side go into the Loftus Road clash with just one win in their last three but, notably, their performances over those three games have been their best of the season.

The R's were unlucky to narrowly lose to Liverpool thanks to two own goals, while league-leaders Chelsea only beat them through a contentiously awarded Eden Hazard penalty.

Manchester City, by contrast, have struggled by their high standards in recent weeks.

And the Sky Sports pundit feels QPR can get a result against Manuel Pellegrini's men.

"There are a lot of other managers in the league who would like Manchester City’s crisis! I think their attitude is poor, though, as they should be beating anybody and it will be a hard game under the lights on Saturday night with Bobby Zamora pinning them back," Merson wrote in his weekly Sky Sports predictions column.

"I really think QPR can get something out of this game. It took City until the 80th minute to break Aston Villa down and they were hanging on against Manchester United, as well. They are really struggling."
