Michael Owen has backed Manchester United to win against Crystal Palace on Saturday, but believes that they will concede a goal.
The former United striker gave his prediction of the Premier League clash at Old Trafford on Betvictor.com.
‘The Eagles’ must do without the suspended Mile Jedinak and Wilfried Zaha, who is on a season long loan from Old Trafford, and it could be a long afternoon for Neil Warnock’s side who were disappointing against Sunderland on Monday’, wrote Owen.
‘United are short of numbers in central defence with the suspended Chris Smalling and injured Marcos Rojo missing from the Manchester derby and I fancy the Eagles to find the back of the net themselves at Old Trafford’.
Many football followers will back Owen’s prediction of the match.
United’s vulnerability at the back means that they are unlikely to keep a clean sheet against a Palace side who have scored in their last three league matches.
Louis van Gaal’s team will be favourites to pick up all three points against Palace, but they should not be too complacent. The Eagles are just a place above the relegation zone and will not go down easy.
