Manchester United latest: Richard Keys' Twitter dig, Shaw agrees with Scholes

Angry Louis van Gaal

The latest Manchester United news, views and rumours.

Louis van Gaal

Television presenter Richard Keys has once again criticised Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal on Twitter, defending his predecessor David Moyes.

Keys took issue with Van Gaal's recent claims at a pre-match press conference that United may now need three years to reach their former heights.

Moyes 'would've loved three years,' said the presenter, who has been critical of the Dutchman in the past, while backing the Scot previously, too.

Luke Shaw

Meanwhile, Man United left-back Luke Shaw has echoed the recent thoughts of former United midfielder Paul Scholes.

Scholes recently stated in his column for the Independent and London Evening Standard that Manchester United must stop playing well for 20 minutes and then losing games.

And Shaw has emphasised a similar aspect of his side's displays.

“I think we’re finding our feet now,” the 19-year-old told MUTV. "We’re all trying to gel together as a team and we’ve shown in games what we’re capable of.

"It’s now a matter of going through the whole game showing what we can do, not just the first half or the second half."
