It appears Aaron Ramsey is under pressure at the Emirates Stadium.
Aaron Ramsey's season is in stark contrast to last campaign.
Not only has the 23-year-old suffered further injury problems this term but he has come in for criticism over his form.
At his best, it is no exaggeration to suggest that Ramsey is Arsenal's best. Certainly in central midfield.
But, more recently, the Welshman has been accused of being 'selfish' and proving particularly costly during the three-goal Champions League collapse against Anderlecht.
And now Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has added his voice to the list of critics.
"It's not about goalscoring. Goalscoring is a consequence of playing well first so focus on playing well," Wenger told reporters about Ramsey at a pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon.
"You have to keep your priorities right as a midfielder, defend well and attack well and give good goals to the other players."
So is Ramsey in danger of losing his place in the Gunners' team?
It may not come to that - but the 23-year-old certainly needs to pick up his form. He may be a victim of being overplayed and he may be a victim of his own brilliant achievements last season.
Still, Ramsey's best is so much better than what he is currently producing. That makes him far more susceptible to criticism than some of his team-mates - fully fit or not.
